The NYSDOH has launched a new website recently called the Environmental Public Health Tracking [EPHT] website, which focuses on tracking environmental and health patterns and trends. The web address is: www.health.state.ny.us/environmental/public_health_tracking/ .  Tracking is intended to help understand how hazards in the environment, diseases, and exposures change over time and/or across regions.  Use of the Environmental Public Health Tracker tool will enable the user to view maps, charts and tables of select environmental health data that have been shown to be related to environmental hazards.  Additional data will be added as the site develops.  In addition it is noted that the NCDOH website for the Community LOOW Project CLP] is still available as an environmental data source.  The Department is currently seeking funding to continue with data input.  There is a potential to do some EPHT with the data available on our site.  The website for the CLP is www.communityloowproject.com .
